The tiff images used for the figure are exported using the Zen 2 lite Software.
All images were adjusted equally sliding the left and right sides (black and white levels) of the histogram window found in the Display mini-tab, with the following thresholds for each channel:

Ch1 (Hoechst): Black 0, White 60000
Ch3 (488): Black 2000, White 50000
GaAs (568): Black 8000, White 45000
